Staples removed today...one by one

The doctor removed the twenty staples from my heel today...one by one. Glad that's over. Doc says I'm progressing nicely from my  May 25th  foot surgery. I still have another month of down time, but can start putting a little pressure on the foot each day. Still no driving until I see the Doc on July 16, by that time we're looking at almost two months into the initial operation. It sure is slow going. I sure miss playing ball. About those staples, I guess the staples work better than stitches. The Doc says when they finish operating it is faster to staple you together rather than seal you up with stitches. At any rate, I'm glad the staples are out of there.
