Diamondbacks back to the .500 mark

Lefty Joe Saunders got his fourth win of the season and Paul Goldschmidt extended his hitting streak to 17 games as the Arizona Diamondbacks edged Oakland 4-3 at Chase Field today and evened their season record at 30-30 as they now head for Texas and a three-game series with the Rangers. The Diamondbacks needed a 5-1 record on their latest home stand to reach the .500 mark and that's exactly what they did, taking two of three from the Colorado Rockies while sweeping the Oakland A's.
