Arizona to play defending champ South Carolina in CWS final
One team remains in the way of our Arizona Wildcats winning the national championship at the 2012 College World Series in Omaha. The team the hot-hitting Wildcats will have to beat in a three-game series, starting Sunday night, will be the South Carolina Gamecocks, the same team that has won the national title in 2010 and 2011. South Carolina battled the Arkansas Razorbacks for nine innings tonight in Omaha and came away with a 3-2 victory, eliminated Arkansas from the series. The Wildcats will take a .330 team batting average into Sunday night's opener, which is 61 points higher than the Gamecocks' season average of .269. Bottom line: Arizona hits...Arizona wins!
