USA medal count at 81

Bookemdanosports 2012 Summer Olympics Update 

Another good day in London for the Americans. Team USA picks up 11 medals on Wednesday, including four golds, three silver and four bronze. On the track, Team USA wins seven medals, spearheaded by gold-medal finishes by Allyson Felix (women's 200 meters), Brittney Reese (women's long jump) and  Aries Merritt (men's 110m hurdles), while over on the beach volleyball court,  Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings win the gold over fellow Americans April  Ross and Jennifer  Kessy, who settle for the silver medal. The Americans regain the top spot in medals with 81. China is second with 77.
