Spaceman Lee, The Rocket toe the rubber

It sounds crazy but two former major league pitchers -- one a 50 year old and the other 65 years young, returned to professional baseball this week. Roger "The Rocket" Clemens tosses 3 1/3 scoreless innings and strikes out two batters in the Sugar Land Skeeters 1-0 win. The Skeeters, a Houston-area minor league team,  are members of the independent Atlantic League.  Out on the West Coast, Bill "Spaceman" Lee, 65, tosses a complete game before a sellout crowd of 1, 265 in Sam Rafael, Calif. and gets the victory in a independent North American League game. Lee throws 94 pitches, 69 of them for strikes and doesn't walk a batter in his nine innings on the mound.
