Spain beats Russia in basketball semifinal at XXX Olympiad

Spain, trailing for most of the game, jumped ahead of Russia with seven minutes remaining and went on to win 67-59 today in London to reach the men's basketball gold medal round at the XXX Olympiad. So, Team USA knows who their opponent will be, if they take care of business and knock of Argentina in the other semifinal later today. Led by Pau and Marc Gasol, Spain shook off a horrible shooting effort in the first half to beat the defensive-minded team from Russia. Spain awaits. As expected, it should be Spain versus Team USA in the final on Sunday. Argentina still has a shot, but I'm putting my money on Lebron James and Company.
