Could rookie Parker get the D'backs 25th roster spot?

Rookie Jarrod Parker is in the mix and just might be pulled out of the bowl as the 25th man on the Diamondbacks postseason roster. A rumor is swirling around Milwaukee that the hard-throwing right-hander who pitched 5 2/3 innings of scoreless ball the other night against the LA Dodgers, just might get penciled in by Kirk Gibson.

I wouldn't want to be in Gibson's shoes (I probably would) and have to whittle down from 30 players to 25 for the postseason. We'll know soon enough. Gibby will have to make that decision in the morning. And, after what Tampa Bay's rookie Matt Moore just accomplished moments ago in Arlington,Texas, Gibby might be leaning that way. Moore just threw a two-hitter in seven innings of work as the Rays blanked the Rangers,9-0.

Good luck, Jarrod!
