Injuries will keep me out of MSBL World Series

My nagging injuries will not go away. I gave it the old college try Saturday morning and it seems like I'm glued to the ground. No quickness, left or right, due to the fractured heel spur in my right foot. Even if I singled to right field at the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL) World Series, chances are a right fielder with an average arm just may throw me out. The old body refuses to heal without a surgeon's intervention.

So, I say goodbye to my hopes of playing in the series in October. Good luck to my teammates on the Tucson Golden Aces.
