Ian does it again!

Ian Kennedy struck out 11 batters enroute to his 19th victory of the season as the Arizona Diamondbacks increased their lead in the National League West to 7 1/2 games with a 4-1 victory tonight over the San Diego Padres at Chase Field.

Way to go, D'backs!

Homers by Paul Goldschmidt, his 7th, and Justin Upton, his 29th, provided the offensive punch once again and J.J. Putz was around to record his 38th save. Gotta love it! Magic number is 12 and watch out Milwaukee, the Diamondbacks (83-61) are out to get that home field advantage in the playoffs!
