It's a fractured heel spur!

The doctor says: "It's a fractured heel spur." The doctor's best scenario is for me to stay off the ball field for six weeks and hope the "ole" spur on my right foot heels...sorry, I mean heals itself.

If not, then surgery awaits. If I'm lucky, and I can run some wind sprints, say in early October without any pain, then just maybe by the time I see the doctor on October 10, he'll give me the thumbs up and I will still be able to play in the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL) World Series, which is slated for October 24-30 in Phoenix.
