D'backs win...again!

Lyle Overbay homered in the ninth inning to get Arizona even with San Diego, and in the 10th inning, he coaxed Joe Thatcher into a bases-loaded walk to score Justin Upton from third base with the winning run as the Diamondbacks beat the Padres, 6-5, at Chase Field tonight.

Down 5-3 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Chris Young pulled the D'backs to within one run with a solo shot to left field and then Overbay followed with his blast. Both homers came off Padres closer Heath Bell. Arizona moves to 85-61 and now leads the NL West by 9 1/2 games. The San Francisco Giants lost to the LA Dodgers 3-0 tonight, while the Milwaukee Brewers (85-62) lost at home tonight to the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-2.
