Dodgers capture NL West

The LA Dodgers came from behind to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-6 at Chase Field this afternoon and with the victory capture the division title in the NL West -- their first division title since 2009.

Arizona led 6-3 after three innings of play but couldn't hold off the Dodgers down the stretch. Hanley Ramirez hit two home runs and drove in four runs for Los Angeles (88-65).

The Diamondbacks (77-75) get two hits apiece from A.J. Pollock, Martin Prado and Geraldo Parra, while Paul Goldschmidt knocks in a run with a ground-rule double in the third inning for his 119th run batted in of the season, but it wasn't enough as the Dodgers score two runs in the sixth and single runs in the seventh and eighth to capture the title.

Arizona closes out its season with a three-game series at Colorado, a four-game series at San Diego and a three- game series at home against the Washington Nationals.
