Another walk-off win for Diamondbacks

Another walk-off win for the Diamondbacks!

This time Eric Chavez gets the bubble gum buckets-mud smudging-after-game treatment from teammate Martin Prado as Arizona edges San Francisco 4-3 last night at Chase Field.

Chavez singled in Willie Bloomquist in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Diamondbacks pick up their 12th walk-off win of the season and 29th comeback win.

Brad Ziegler (8-1) get the win in relief -- the Diamondbacks fourth pitcher of the night.

Bloomquist and Prado combine for six of Arizona's 12 hits.

Ziegler now holds the third most wins on the Diamondbacks pitching staff, behind Patrick Corbin (13) and Wade Miley (9).

The above gets me thinking. What is the most wins in MLB history for a reliever? Well, it is Pittsburgh's Roy Face. In 1959, Face went 18-1!

Corbin (13-4) takes the mound for the Diamondbacks today as Arizona (69-65) will attempt to win the rubber game of the three-game series with the Giants.
