D'backs head home after losing 3 of 4 at San Diego
The Arizona Diamondbacks lose 3-2 in 11 innings to the Padres this afternoon and head home for their final three-game series of the season on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Chase Field with the Washington Nationals.
Arizona (80-79) loses 3 of 4 in San Diego and are on the verge of a losing season if they can't take down the Nationals this weekend. Patrick Corbin will get the start on Friday, Brandon McCarthy on Saturday and Wade Miley will pitch the final game of the season on Sunday.
The Diamondbacks get just three hits against the Padres today -- one of the hits was from Paul Goldschmidt as he extends his hitting streak to 16 games. Martin Prado homered and A.J Pollock tripled and that was it for the D'backs.
