72-72!

The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to salvage the final game of the three-game series with the Dodgers in LA tonight. After losing the first two games -- including last night's 5-3 loss to the Dodgers in 11 innings, the D'backs fall to 72-72 on the season.

Pat Corbin (13-6) takes the mound for the Diamondbacks tonight. Arizona is now 13 games back of the Dodgers (85-59) with 18 games left in the season.

As for all those extra-inning games, the D'backs have now played 23 extra-inning games this season -- tops in the Majors.

As for D'backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, he goes 2 for 5 on his 26th birthday. Goldy scores a run, but fails to pick up any RBIs.
