Another extra-inning game for the D'backs!

Another extra-inning game for the Arizona Diamondbacks, only this time it doesn't go the way of the good guys as the Giants win 3-2 in 11 innings today at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Joe Thatcher (3-2) gives up the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 11th as the Giants' Angel Pagan singles home pinch-runner Ehire Adrianza and Arizona falls to 72-70.

The  Diamondbacks received another good outing from Wade Miley, who went seven innings. He allowed two runs on five hits. He walked two and struck out three.

And now it's off to LA. The Diamondbacks open up a three-game series at Dodger Stadium on Monday night.
