San Diego Padres, South Dakota Rushmores to battle in MSBL World Series title game

After a long week of action in the 70-and-over division at the MSBL World Series in Phoenix, it has come down to the San Diego Padres and the South Dakota Rushmores for the title.

The two teams will meet at the Maryvale Stadium in Glendale this morning. Game time is set for 9 AM. The Arizona Scorpions (my team) were eliminated yesterday, but played their best game against the Padres. The Padres prevailed last Wednesday 3-0 behind a shutout performance from their ace pitcher,  Dick Fitzgerald. The Padres finished 4-1 during pool play this week, while the Rushmores ran the table and finished 5-0. Congrats, to both teams.
