Bryson Beirne to Juron Criner for the win!
What a turn of events. Nick Foles throws for 370 yards and then leaves the game with a back injury with six minutes left in the game and in comes back-up quarterback Bryson Beirne. And what does Beirne do? He throws a screen pass to Juron Criner, who runs it in from 23 yards out to give the Arizona Wildcats a 31-27 win over Arizona State tonight at Sun Devil Stadium.
Interim coach Tim Kish, the Arizona Wildcats and the Arizona fans held their collective breath the final five minutes of the game...and in the END the 'Cats had their victory over their hated rivals, Arizona State!
The Heroes:
Nick Foles 35 for 50, 370 yards and 2 TDs
Bryson Beirne 1 for 1, 23 yards and a TD
Juron Criner 9 receptions for 133 yards and a TD
Ka'Deem Carey 13 rushes for 92 yards, 4 receptions for 47 yards and a TD
