Wildcats have no mercy on Cardinal
Arizona Wildcats Softball
The Arizona Wildcats made use of the mercy rule over the weekend, winning each game of the three-game series at Hillenbrand Stadium against the Stanford Cardinal by double digits -- including a 22-5 victory today.
Chelsea Goodacre hit her 21st home run of the season today to take over the Pac-12 lead in homers by one over teammate Katiyana Mauga. The Wildcats hit six homers in the game, including three alone from Hallie Wilson. Alexis Dotson and Mo Mercado also homered.
Wilson was on fire with four hits in five trips to the plate, while knocking in eight runs.
The 19th-ranked Wildcats improve to 37-12 on the season and 12-6 in the Pac-12 Conference.
