Collmenter tosses complete-game shutout

Josh Collmenter goes the distance and shuts down the Giants in San Francisco 9-0 on Friday night as the Arizona Diamondbacks make it two in a row over the defending national champs to improve to 6-5 on the season.

Collmenter (1-2) fires a four-hitter and helps his own cause with a three-hit night, while his teammates bang out another 15 hits -- including four hits by A.J. Pollock and three by David Peralta.

The four-game series continues tonight at AT&T Park with Rubby De La Rosa (2-0) on the mound for the Diamondbacks, while the Giants counter with Chris Heston (1-1).
