Spieth fire a 2-under 70 on Day 3 at the Masters



Day 3 at the Masters


Jordan Spieth fires a 2-under-par 70 at the Masters today, establishing a 54-hole record of an even 200 strokes (64-66-70) for the prestigious golf tournament.

Spieth is 16 strokes under par and holds a four stroke advantage over Justin Rose, his playing partner for the final round on Sunday.

Phil Mickelson shot a 67 today and is in third place at 11-under-par, one stroke ahead of his playing partner for Sunday, Charley Hoffman, whlie Tiger Woods carded a 4-under-par 68 today and will join Rory McIlroy on the first tee tomorrow in the third pairing.

Woods, McIlroy, Kevin Na, Kevin Streelman and Dustin Johnson are all bunched up at 6-under-par.

The final day should be a real barn burner.
