Arizona drops 2 of 3 in Salt Lake City

The Arizona Wildcats dropped 2 of 3 to Utah, including a 4-2 defeat today in the rubber match in Salt Lake City. The Wildcats return home to face Stanford and will open the three-game series with the Cardinal on Friday at Hillenbrand Stadium.
As for the trip to Utah, it wasn't exactly what the Wildcats had in mind as they fall to 34-12 on the season and 9-6 in Pac-12 play.
Arizona scores two runs today, but collects only three hits in the process.
Katiyana Mauga belted her 20th home run during the Utah series and Chelsea Goodacre ripped her 18th of the season. Mauga and Goodacre are 1-2 in the Pac-12 conference in homers. Goodacre leads the conference in RBI with 68.
