Diamondbacks take 3 of 4 in San Francisco

Paul Goldschmidt hit his fifth home run, A.J. Pollock continued his hot hitting with three more hits and Chris Owings broke out of slump with three hits and two RBI today in San Francisco as the Arizona Diamondbacks closed out the four-game series with a 5-1 win over the Giants.
The Diamondbacks take 3 of 4 from the Giants and improve to 7-6 on the year.
Jeremy Hellickson (1-2) gets his first win, allowing one run on eight hits. Hellickson got stronger as the game went along, hurling 6 2/3 innings before giving way to the bullpen.
