Pirates sweep Diamondbacks

The Pittsburgh Pirates made it a three-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field today with a 8-0 shutout in the final game of the series. The Diamondbacks had just three hits in the game as they fell to 8-10 on the season.

The Colorado Rockies begin a three-game series at Chase on Monday night. Chase Anderson will take the mound for the D'backs. Anderson (0-0) has had three starts this year and has pitched well in 18 innings of work with 16 strike outs and four walks. The Diamondbacks haven't been able to put any runs on the scoreboard for Anderson and the young pitcher, in his second year with the Diamondbacks, is still looking for his first win in 2015.
