Kerr's Warriors roll through first round of NBA Playoffs
NBA Playoffs
Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors roll on.
Kerr, the former Arizona Wildcat, continues to pull all the right buttons as the coach of the Warriors. After posting a 67-15 regular-season record, Golden State goes 4-0 in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs -- including a 109-98 win tonight over the Pelicans in New Orleans.
Next up: The Memphis Grizzlies or the Portland Trail Blazers. Memphis is up 3-0 in that series, after winning tonight in Portland 115-109.
Tonight, the Warriors handed Kerr his 71st win of the year as Stephen Curry poured in 39 points, while Klay Thompson added 25 and Draymond Green scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Warriors led at the half 67-54.
Way to go, Steve!
