Wilson JHS 46 Amphi JHS 0

Junior High Football

Running back Brayden Smith ran for three touchdowns and quarterback Jadon Price threw a  touchdown pass to Jarod Peck from 20 yards out as the Wilson Junior High School Wranglers rolled to their second win of the season with a 46-0 win over the Amphitheater Junior High Pirates today at the Amphitheater Field. Fresh off a season-opening win over Cross Junior High last week, Wilson made it two a row for the Wranglers as they jumped out to a 22-0 halftime lead thanks to two long touchdown runs by Smith, who now has four rushing touchdowns in two games. Price's TD toss to Peck was the second of the season for the 7th-grade quarterback who connected with Smith last week for the game-winning TD in the Wranglers 13-6 win over Cross Junior High.
