And the Ryder Cup goes to...

Steve Stricker is one of my favorite professional golfers.  Jim Furyk gets my vote too, probably because he's a University of Arizona alum. So as both golfers headed for 17 and 18 today at the Ryder Cup, it got my attention. And then the wheels came off!

Both golfers faltered and the Europeans make a monstrous comeback to win the Ryder Cup, 14 1/2 to 13 1/2. The hometown crowd at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill. backed the Americans from Day 1 of the 2012 Ryder Cup, but in the end there was nothing to cheer about for the USA golf fans as the putts by Stricker and Furyk rolled by the holes and with the missed putts went the hopes of bringing THE CUP back to the United States.
