No 100-game winners in MLB this season
There will be no 100-game winners in Major League Baseball this season.
The Washington Nationals lost in St. Louis today and now sport a 96-63 record with three games remaining on their regular season schedule. Cincinnati with its 4-3 win over Pittsburgh today own the same record as the Nationals. Houston owns the worst record in baseball with just 53 wins and 106 losses. As for our Arizona Diamondbacks (80-79), they need to win the three-game series with Colorado, which begins tomorrow night at Chase Field, in order to finish over the .500 mark -- a mark they have toyed with all season long. Wade Miley (16-11) will get his final shot at winning number 17 in the opener of the Rockies' series.
