Great Scott! Arizona Wins!

Arizona quarterback Matt Scott played three quarters and head coach Rich Rodriguez had seen enough.  Scott threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another as the Wildcats cruised to a 56-0 win over South Carolina State tonight at Arizona Stadium.

The talented Arizona quarterback amassed 288 yards through the air and rushed for 61 yards. Scott, who completed 30 of 36 passes to 10 different receivers, took of his helmet and replaced it with headphones and handed over the offense to lefty B.J. Denker.  The junior college transfer continued the onslaught over the Bulldogs as the third-quarter score of 42-0 ballooned another 14 points. The Arizona fans needed to check their programs the final 15 minutes of the game to keep track of who was doing what on the field of play.

My goodness, here we are three games into the 2012 season and the Wildcats are  3-0. Gotta love it. And now the going gets a little tougher. Arizona opens up Pac-12 Conference play next Saturday as they travel to Oregon to face the 4th-ranked Ducks. As for the Pac-12 race, suddenly we have a wide-open affair as the mighty USC Trojans go down today 21-14 to Stanford.
