Wildcats shock Cowboys!

The Wildcats are not Savannah State.

Arizona shocked 18th-ranked Oklahoma State 59-38 at Arizona Stadium tonight as quarterback Matt Scott engineered the upset over the Cowboys, who just one week ago had crushed hapless Savannah State 84-0. Scott was brilliant, connecting on 28 of 41 passes for 320 yards while tossing two touchdown passes and adding another score with an 8-yard run. Scott rushed for 55 yards on 19 carries.

He got a lot of help from his friends, too. Running back Ka'Deem Carey caught a 13-yard TD pass from Scott, scored on two 1-yard plunges and ran another one in from 25 yards out.  Carey rushed for 125 yards on 26 carries. A couple of fourth-quarter interceptions helped seal the deal for the Wildcats -- including one by Jonathan McKnight, who intercepted Cowboys' quarterback Wes Lunt at the Oklahoma State 48-yard line and scampered to the end zone.

It was a day of  Pac-12 upsets as Oregon State shocks Wisconsin and UCLA edges Nebraska. The Pac-12 shines! And so did our WILDCATS! Congrats, to Rich Rodriguez and the 2-0 Wildcats.
