Wildcats get well with easy win over Beavers
Arizona Wildcats Football
Just what the doctor ordered.
An easy win for the Wildcats. A blowout, if you will, as Arizona ran the ball down the throat of the Oregon State Beavers for five rushing touchdowns en route to a 44-7 win today at Arizona Stadium -- a stadium with a lot of empty seats.
Shame on you Wildcat fans.
Arizona improves to 4-2 overall 1-2 in the Pac-12 as quarterback Anu Solomon returns from his concussion to lead the Wildcats to victory.
Everyone got their hands on the ball today for the Wildcats. Take a gander:
-- Anu Solomon 17 for 30 and 276 passing yards
-- Orlando Bradford 19 carries for 83 yards and three rushing touchdowns
-- Jared Baker 10 carries 123 yards rushing
-- Nick Wilson another 78 rushing yards and two scores
and in the fourth quarter...
-- Backup quarterback Jerrard Randall six carries for 49 yards in the scoreless fourth quarter.
The totals: Arizona 276 passing and 368 yards rushing = 644
