Tucson Aces win doubleheader at MSBL World Series

Dennis Crowley singled in the winning run with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning today in Surprise, Arizona as the Tucson Aces beat Tri Valley 9-8 at the Men's Senior Baseball League World Series.

It was a long day for the Aces and Crowley's heroics came in the second game today -- the 19th inning of the day for the Aces. In the first game of the doubleheader Bob Daliege pitched seven strong innings as the Aces knocked off Dodgertown West 16-6. Ron Petersen led the Aces' hitting attack in the first game with a single, a double and a triple in four at bats.

The Aces (2-1) face Red Deer, Canada at Tempe Diablo Stadium tomorrow morning. Game time 9 a.m.
