National League wild-card game
The Chicago Cubs get it done!
Jake Arrieta tossed a complete-game shutout and 22-year-old rookie Kyle Schwarber hit a two-run homer and Dexter Fowler hit a solo shot as the Cubs beat the Pirates 4-0 in Pittsburgh tonight to win the National League Wild Card game.
Arrieta struck out 11 and did not walk a batter.
Way to go, Cubs!
