Wildcats lose in Boulder
Arizona Wildcats Basketball
The ninth-ranked Arizona Wildcats lost 75-72 to the Colorado Buffaloes tonight in Boulder. Allonzo Trier had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but the ball bounced off the rim and (you guessed it!) the Colorado fans stormed the court.
Down by 11 with 12:05 remaining in the game, Arizona fought back and finally pulled to within three points when Kaleb Tarczewski rammed home a dunk with 51 seconds left. Unfortunately for the Wildcats the scoring ended there for both teams.
Ryan Anderson finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Trier netted 15.
Both teams collected 38 rebounds, but the Buffaloes seemed to be in the right place at the right time and grabbed enough second-chance points to get the job done.
Arizona falls to 22-6 overall and 10-5 in the Pac-12 Conference.
Note: The officiating was HORRIBLE! But that's the way it goes on the road in the Pac-12.
