Arizona picks up road win at Washington State

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

Nothing is ever easy for the Arizona Wildcats on the road.

The Wildcats built a 19-point lead midway through the second half in Pullman tonight and then lost guard Kadeem Allen, who fouled out after scoring just two points in a little over seven minutes of playing time.

The result: Washington State goes on a scoring spurt and closes to within eight points, before the Wildcats right the ship and go on to a 79-64 road win over the Cougars.

Once again, the Wildcats turned to the inside play of Ryan Anderson, who finished the night with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Anderson seems to be at the right place at the right time. Get the ball in his hands and good things happen.

Anderson established a new career-high with his 31 points on 10 for 16 shooting from the field and 11 of 17 from the foul line.

Arizona improves to 18-5 overall and 6-4 in the Pac-12 Conference.

Way to go Ryan... and way to go Wildcats!
