Rice edges Wildcats, 4-3
Arizona Wildcats Baseball
Rice avoided a sweep by the Arizona Wildcats (2-1) today in Houston.
Arizona took the lead early in Game 3 of the series and owned a 3-2 lead when the Owls came to bat in the bottom of the eighth inning. Rice scored twice and escaped with a 4-3 win.
Second baseman JJ Matijevic had two of the Wildcats four hits.
