Daliege top hitter for TOTS in January

Bob Daliege, 67, made the most of his at bats in January as he led all hitters on the 60-and-over TOTS baseball club with 20 hits in 27 official plate appearances for a .741 batting average.

Daliege led the team in doubles with five and also knocked in the most runs for the month with 12.

Other top hitters for the month include Lloyd Barzell (17for 34, a 500 average), Pete Peters (16 for 28, a .571 average), Tim Tolson (16 for 28, a .571 average), Arnie White (16 for 26, a .615 average),  Dennis Crowley (15 for 30, a .500 average), Jesse Ochoa (14 for 25, a 560 average) and Dan Boxberger (13 for 24), a .542 average).
