Baseball, softball just around the corner for the Wildcats

It is February!

It's a busy month for Tucson residents. The Gem Show is off and running. The Rodeo is just a few weeks away. Spring Training gets underway in Phoenix (sorry to say, not Tucson) as pitchers and catchers report. Of course, it is also time for college baseball and softball.

The University of Arizona baseball team begins its 2016 season at Rice with a three-game series, Feb. 19-21. The Wildcats' softball team will open their season, hosting the Hillenbrand Classic, Feb. 11-14.

Come on now, Mr. Weatherman. Give us some sunny, warm days!
