Tucson Toros fall to 1-3, Seattle Mariners drop to 0-4 at MSBL World Series

The Tucson Toros lost Game 4 at the Men's Senior Baseball League World Series today to Dodgertown, 11-8, at the Maryvale Sports Complex, the spring training home of the Milwaukee Brewers. Tim Tolson and Doc Escala, both from the 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers, collected two hits apiece in the loss.

The Toros (1-3) will try to win their fifth and final round-robin game on Wednesday against Raynham at Fitch Park in Mesa. Game time: 10:00 a.m.

Game  4


Danny Boxberger, a member of the Tucson Old Timers, went 1 for 3 with a double, scored a run and drove in a run during the Seattle's 27-8 loss today in Tempe.

Boxberger and his Seattle (0-4) teammates finish out their five-game, round-robin schedule tomorrow against Australia at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Game time: 9:00 a.m.
