Congrats to the Nationals.

Washington makes it a sweep last night at home in front of their fans with a 7-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals to punch their ticket to the World Series. Howie Kendrick won the MVP award.

Former Diamondback Patrick Corbin gets the win, while another former member of the Arizona Diamondbacks Paul Goldschmidt went 1 for 16 and struck out nine times in the National League Championship Series.

It's been 86 years since Washington has played in the World Series.
