"Houston, we have a problem!"

2019 MLB World Series

"Houston we have a problem."

No, I'm not referring to the Apollo movie, but to the Houston Astros. They remain stunned tonight in Houston after the Washington Nationals, behind Stephen Strasburg's six strong innings and  just two runs allowed. On the other side, Justin Verlander gives up four runs. It's back-to-back losses for the Astros and their 1-2 pitching staff of Gerrit Cole and Verlander.

And the bad news for Houston: They fly to Washington for three games against the Nationals on 10/25, 10/26 and 10/27.

Tonight's homers from Washington's Kurt Suzuki, Adam Eaton and Michael Taylor.

Houston's homers by Martin Maldonado and Alex Bregman.

WP  Strasburg (1-0)

LP   Verlander (0-1)
