Enjoyed the Az Wildcats' game at Hi Corbett
I
had a chance to get away from the house yesterday and watch the Arizona Wildcats play Cal-Davis at Hi Corbett. Despite the wind, it was a great way to watch a college baseball game. Moving to Hi Corbett was a great move for the 'Cats...and the hot dogs were only a $1.00 and if you wanted a beer you'd need to dish out $4.00 (no suds after the fifth inning).
As for the Wildcats, they are a very, very good team. The Wildcats beat the Aggies, 6-0, and will play a second game today at 1 p.m. The wind kept the ball in the park yesterday. As for my favorite player, Johnny Field...he's a ballplayer. Currently leading the team in hitting, Field had a bunt single yesterday, walked once and scored a couple of runs. Defensively, the 'Cats whip the ball around with speed, agility, strong arms...etc. The Wildcats are currently ranked 7th in the nation...and I can see why!
