The Stanford Cardinal stayed alive in the NIT last night as they hung on to beat Illinois State, 92-88, in overtime at Palo Alto. Aaron Bright poured in 29 points and Casson Randle was the difference maker with a crucial 3-pointer in overtime to send the Cardinal to the quarterfinals and a matchup on Wednesday with the Nevada Wolf Pack, who just happened to knock off an old Arizona Wildcats nemesis, the Bison from Bucknell, 75-67.
