Baylor, Kansas...the two teams from west of the Mississippi hang on

As I said in my previous post, the teams from the eastern part of the country are all that's left in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, with the exception of Baylor and Kansas, as they both hang on yesterday and survive another day.

A big day ahead today with Louisville and Florida going at it in Phoenix, and Syracuse and Ohio State set to do battle in Boston. Tomorrow, it's Kentucky and Baylor set to clash in Atlanta, while over in St. Louis a heck of a matchup, pitting North Carolina against Kansas.

Where have all the teams from the western part of the country gone? Well the players from those teams will head for the sports bars, sit back, eye the over-sized television screens and wonder what could have been.
