The Washington State Cougars lost in Pittsburgh today to the Panthers, 57-53, and will now face them again on Friday in Pittsburgh for the CBI title. The Cougars have now played 36 games this season and have won 19 games.

The championship series is tied at 1-1 as the Panthers battled back from their opening-game loss in Pullman to force one more game. It's been a long season for the Cougars and win or lose on Friday, they are guaranteed a winning season.
