Ceremony honoring Clarence Fieber set for today at Udall Park
After the Tucson Old Timers (TOTS) dress out game today, a ceremony honoring Clarence Fieber, the oldest player to ever take the field of play for the organization, will have a bench, behind home plate, dedicated in his honor. Fieber passed away at the age of 91 on May 28,2011. Clarence will be missed and thought of often by his family, his friends, and his TOTS' teammates. Clarence was, and as I had said in a previous post, the "Energizer Bunny"... he never quit...and never stopped playing baseball, til the very end of his fabulous life.
