As expected the Wildcats rolled over the Lumberjacks tonight inside the friendly confines of Arizona Stadium.

If you were at the game, chances are you kept a program handy to match up an Arizona jersey number to a name. Arizona pounded Northern Arizona 62-24 as coach Rich Rodriguez opened the gate and allowed many of his young Wildcats to take the field and get in some playing time -- including his own son, Rhett Rodriguez, who entered the game in the fourth quarter, took his first snap from center and handed off to Branden Leon (check your program) for a 10-yard touchdown run.

Six different Wildcats rambled for a score -- including the young Rodriguez, who scored on a quarterback sneak from 1-yard out with four minutes left in the game.

Arizona is 1-0 and that's a good thing.

There will be tougher games ahead.
