2013 MLB World Series
Well, congratulations are in order for the Boston Red Sox.
The Red Sox win Game 6 by a score of 6-1 and capture the 2013 World Series tonight in Boston. From last place in 2012 to the MLB World Series title in 2013. Quite a feat.
Tonight Shane Victorino was the hitting star for Boston with a three-run double and finished the night with four RBIs, while pitcher John Lackey pitched into the seventh inning and picked up the win. Michael Wacha, the young pitching sensation for the Cardinals, was saddled with the loss.
