Arizona and Utah get physical
Arizona Wildcats Football
Make no mistake about it the Utah Utes are a physical football team.
It was a battle in the trenches tonight at Arizona Stadium, but somehow, someway the Wildcats defensive line bends but does not break as they went up against Utah's offensive front line for 60 minutes en route to a 35-24 Pac-12 win.
Arizona (4-2 overall, 1-2 in the Pac-12) had their own wrecking crew in running back Ka'Deem Carey. It was evident, despite a fourth-quarter fumble, that Carey was the "Big Man" for the job as he carried the ball time and time again for a career-high 40 carries and 236 rushing yards.
By the way, one of Carey's 40 carries came at a critical time (1:30 left on the game clock) when he rushed up the middle for 44 yards and his first touchdown, giving the Wildcats a much-needed Pac-12 win.
Utah falls to 4-3 overall and 1-3 in Pac-12 play. A week ago the Utes stun Stanford. Tonight the Wildcats stun the Utes.
Way to go, Carey and the Wildcats!
