The Cardinals advance to the NLCS with a convincing 6-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight in St. Louis. Adam Wainwright tosses a complete game, strikes out six and walks just one batter. Wainwright gets plenty of support from teammates David Freese and Matt Adams as the two Cardinals belt two-run homers to send St. Louis into its third straight NLCS.
